His research interests include chain-of-thought faithfulness, understanding how deep learning works, and dataset verification. Previously, he has contributed to research on optimisation algorithms, dataset reconstruction, and stochastic gradient descent as part of the Pivotal Research fellowship.
Prior to starting the DPhil, he completed an MSc in mathematical sciences at the University of Oxford, focussing on machine learning and applied mathematics. He holds an BSc in discrete mathematics from the University of Warwick.
